Northern Utah Custom Curbing uses The Decorative Curbmaking Machine. It is auger driven delivering a constant flow of smooth workable material requiring a minimal amount of finishing. The constant motion of the auger allows a much higher slump and compacted material to be used therefore creating a smoother product to be extruded into the tube forming whatever shape is desired. The problem with the other existing curb machines is that they have a ram that delivers mortar from the hopper to the mold losing 50% of the positive energy as the ram returns to pick-up their material. Material had to be mixed very dry making installation and finishing more difficult as well as causing extruded material to break and weather poorly from lack of good compaction. Curbing produced by such machines can start deteriorating in as little as two to three years. Not so with The Decorative Curbmaking Machine.
